অতীতকালে ‘হয়েছে কি’ → Was/Were + subject + past participle

🔸 গতকাল চোরটিকে ধরা হয়েছে কি? — Was the thief caught yesterday?

বর্তমানকালে ‘হয়নি’ (হয় নাই) → Has not been / Have not been + past participle

🔸 তাকে বইটা দেয়া হয় নাই। — He has not been given the book.
🔸 তাকে খবরটি দেয়া হয় নাই। — He has not been given the news.

অতীতকালে ‘হয়নি’ (হয় নাই) → Was not / Were not + past participle

🔸 কাজগুলো গতকাল শেষ হয় নাই। — The works were not completed yesterday.

অবস্থা অতীত থেকে বর্তমান পর্যন্ত → Has been / Have been + adjective

🔸 সে অনেকদিন যাবত অসুস্থ হয়েছে। — He has been ill for a long time.

’হয়েছিল কি / হল কি / যেত কি’ → Was / Were + subject + past participle
